Brick red appearance with a suitably rich aroma of very ripe grapes and figs as well as dried fruits, nuts and almonds, caramel and coffee. On the palate, it is fresh and elegant with a good balance of acidity. The delightfully long finish is dominated, but not at all overpowered, by dried fruits.
