Gorgeous nose, pineapple, passionfruit and mandarin – smells so expressive. Fully flavoured on the palate, this is a rich and heady wine filled with fruit and texture. The frame is large and structured and given spicy edges from the wood ageing. Feels round and alive. Still very youthful with bright lemon, grapefruit and mango touches. Despite its power and concentration, it’s polished and quite charming with precision and clarity on show.
