Portugal’s Dao wine region is one of the country’s oldest established viticultural areas, lying just south of the famed Douro Valley. This hearty red is comprised of 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo), and 30% Jaen (Mencia). Aromas of dark berries and leather lead to a raspberry/black cherry palate. We’re thinking charcoal fired piri-piri chicken and batatas fritas!
