A collaboration between Bodega Tapiz and Jean Claude Berrouet, winemaker at Chateau Petrus for 25 years (1982 -2007). Jean Claude is regarded as one of the finest winemakers the world has ever known, and a world leader with Merlot. Under his direction Chateau Petrus became one of the most expensive and sought after wines in the world.
Expressing pure intensity on the bouquet there are notes of fresh red fruits, raspberries, cassis and truffles accompanied by delicate spicy hints. Its oak aging brings aromas of coffee and chocolate married with fruity notes typical of this varietal of San Pablo Estate. The palate is intense, with sweet and elegant tannins and an truly persistent finish.
