The nose is rich and complex with the aroma of roasted nuts and ripe dark fruits (plum/cherry) emerging into aromas of cedar, dried berries, pepper and black cherry. The palate is silky and round with a long and persistent finish. The 2012 is nicely mature with still plenty of vigour left in it, but feels like a lovely mature Claret.
