This Burgundy feels especially vibrant and confident. Aromas of ripe blackberry and wild cherry are brighter and more open, with a subtler, well-judged hint of vanilla. Old vines planted between 1926 and 1960 deliver naturally concentrated fruit, giving a generous yet finely balanced palate. Supple tannins and fresh energy make it beautifully drinkable young, while the depth suggests it will reward short cellaring. Excellent with roast meats or game.
