This little medium-bodied charmer has a translucent ruby purple hue, the bouquet is a touch savoury with blue plum fruit and a subtle suggestion of spice and the taste has a smoky, savoury, deli meat allure. Made from a blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah it has fine but reasonably dry tannins, the merest suggestion of pepper, and purple fruit sweetness emerging on the lingering finish.
