A happy accident led to this elegant, structured Juliénas being aged for two years in French oak, a style now repeated annually since 2015. Black cherry, cassis, blackberry and a touch of vanilla lead the nose. The palate is vibrant and spicy, with rounded tannins and a long finish. Burgundian in finesse, but with a more approachable price. Bottled unfiltered for added depth.
