The grapes for this cracking Zweigelt are grown on deep loess soils in Schafberg in Wagram, running down southeast-facing slopes and enjoying cooling breezes in the evenings and overnight. These bright grapes are then fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks, developing a pleasant fragrance of red berries and a smooth palate filled with sour cherries. It’s a crunchy, moreish red wine with mellow tannins.
