Intense aromas of red cherries, berries and stone fruit. On the palate the rich ripe fruit is nicely balanced by fresh zesty almost leafy acidity finishing with a hint of spice and a twist of tannin.
Sancerre Rosé is a delicious style that is often overlooked but give it a try and you will be converted.
Situated at the heart of the village of Sury-enVaux (5 km from Sancerre) on an terroir of good exposure and characteristic of cretaceous and jurassic formed between 100 to 150 million years. Philippe Raimbault comes from a family of winemakers going back many generations and today he has the good fortune to own vineyards on both sides of the Loire River in the Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé and Coteaux du Giennois appellations.
