This Irish single malt whiskey from Kinahan’s is produced in small batches with 100% malted barley and matured in ex-bourbon casks. On the nose there are aromas of zesty blood orange, toasted caramel, hazelnut, cigar, tobacco, cocoa. Chocolate and coffee come to the fore on the palate, followed by green pear, ripe peach, eucalyptus, nutty madeira extract. The finish is gentle – bitter chocolate with a lingering sweet blood orange twist.
