Dowie Doole Estate Grenache 2021

The DD Grenache is a true reflection of the 2 terroirs of DOWIE DOOLE. Fruit sources from the Dowie Vineyard on the cool sandy slopes of Blewitt Springs and the Doole Vineyard on the ancient rocks of Tatachilla. The wine is crafted using the gentlest handling possible, destemmed not crushed, open fermented using only hand plunging. The maturation in oak is kept short and only old oak is used
to preserve grenache’s natural perfume of delicate fruits and delicate palate. A lifted bouquet expressing hallmark Grenache characters; strawberry, raspberry and boiled lollies. The palate shows the crunchy red fruit with a gentle tannin line adding length.
