The Protheau family, originally from the Côte Chalonnaise, have been cultivating vines from father to son since 1720. This is red with delicate, purple highlights. On the nose the bouquet is direct yet harmonious, with notes of small red berries and cinnamon. The palate is wide on the attack and offers a structured finish that brings typicity and character to this wine. Perfect with entrecote steak, slow roasted pork and poultry or ripened cheeses.
