Vacqueyras Domaine La Fourmone Le Poete is a handcrafted wine from a 20 hectare estate in the centre of Vacqueyras dating back to 1765. 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah, this is a beautifully pure fruit wine. Rich and concentrated fruit with notes of raspberry, blueberry and spice. Powerful yet elegant.
Domaine la Fourmone is a family affair that is now in its fifth generation, letting ancestral wine making traditions live on whilst shifting to organic viticulture. Their Vacqueyras vineyards are mostly located around the estate whilst the Gigondas vineyards are located on the southern side of the picturesque Dentelles de Montmirail. The vineyards enjoy plenty of sunshine and perfect ventilation.
