The Domaine de la Creuze Noire, Saint Veran really hits the mark. It displays a soft buttery nose with melon and stonefruit aromas featuring. In the mouth the poshest citrus lemon attack has a little floral note to it, then fattens through the mid-palate with a dash of minerality keeping things bright and elegant. The lengthy, complex finish has lovely peach fruit coming through in this delicious drop of Chardonnay.
