Red fruits, with plum, some meaty characters, spice and toasty oak. Medium bodied, lovely mature Rioja characters with some freshness too! Berry fruits, liquorice, spice and toasty oak, meaty and savoury yet with lots sweet fruit. Tannins are soft and this is already drinking well though no hurry, good acidity keeps it fresh and makes you want another glass. CVNE have always been a top winery, but maybe never better and more consistent than now. This is just a delicious wine, drinking fabulously now, especially if you can decant.
