Collosorbo Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2023

A vibrant and approachable red that captures the essence of Tuscany with elegance and authenticity. Made entirely from Sangiovese, the grapes are drawn partly from the estate’s prized vineyards dedicated to Brunello and partly from younger vines, giving the wine both depth and freshness. Harvest is carried out by hand with meticulous selection before fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks and a medium-length maceration to extract colour, fruit and fine tannins. The wine then matures for a year in large Slavonian and French oak barrels, with a small portion in barriques, before resting further in bottle to integrate and refine. Think of this a ‘baby Brunello’ and you can’t go far wrong!
