Chateau Barde Haut St Emilion Grand Cru

The 2016 vintage of Château Barde Haut has a deep, dark and deep purplish colour, almost black. On the nose, it offers a smoky and deliciously fruity bouquet with layers of black plums, strawberries, prunes and black cherries. Each layer is perfectly delimited, it is a very elegant cocktail, subtly dosed to achieve the perfect balance between delicacy and freshness.
In the mouth, Barde Haut 2016 really reveals itself. Very balanced, with finely worked tannins and an exemplary finesse, it also offers just the right amount of acidity to offer a palpable tension from the beginning to the end of the glass.
