In northern Italy a ‘Brolo’ is a walled vineyard, similar to a French ‘Clos’. This wine is ruby in colour with purple hues. On the nose it shows aromas of cherries, red berries and sweet spices and delicate hints of almond and violets. On the palate it is well structured and the sweet red fruit flavours persist, making it an easy wine to drink now. The finish is dry and persistent.
