This is an exceptionally good value red Burgundy with plush red berry characters, dark plum, and subtle spice. The tannins and acidity are silky and very well integrated. Proof that you can still find value in Burgundy. The wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown on the less prestigious, but barely less delicious, Coteaux Bourguignons. A great accompaniment to charcuterie, poultry e.g. coq au vin, and mature cheeses
