2016 is already regarded as one of Pomerol’s finest vintages so this Chateau Gazin will not disappoint. With a deep, intense purple hue, the nose offers generous aromas of red and black fruits, including plums, blueberries, and blackcurrant, evolving into notes of spice, truffles, and undergrowth with age. On the palate, it’s soft, silky, slightly full-bodied, with ample tannins and a long, flavoursome finish. Lay this down and it will keep getting better and better with age.
