Made in small batches, typically comprised of no more than two dozen barrels, this is top quality stuff. On the nose you’ll find rich layers of vanilla and caramel with chocolate and buttered corn, with sweet oak char in support. The palate is all buttery caramel, soft peach, and apricot, with a warming touch of nutmeg and pepper mellowed by mellow vanilla. The finish is dense and fruity with lingering notes of stone fruits, a touch of apple, more chocolate, honeyed almonds, buttery oak, and balanced peppery heat.
