Description
This is a serious red, with a deeper, darker fruit character. Supple, weighty and rich in texture, but also a silky smoothness. Profound, ripe blackberry and dark cherry fruit on the palate, with 12 months ageing in barrel adding an alluring smokiness. Nathalie Theulot inherited her share of the Domaine in 1987 and runs it impeccably, with low yields, minimal intervention in the vineyard, and very meticulous selection of the finest grapes.
