This rosé is a classic blend of 40% Cinsault, 40% Grenache, and 20% Syrah, and the name is inspired by his sister, Madeleine, when translated into the local language. It is produced using direct pressure, with Benoît adopting a Champagne-like triage during the pressing, taking only the first free-run juice. And it is this process that no doubt contributes to the pristine and natural aromas and flavors of this wine.
Offering up a delicate and highly aromatic bouquet of fresh strawberry, apple, peach, and white flowers, it is delightfully crisp and bright. And all of that lovely fruit is framed by perfectly integrated acidity and mineral.
